Graduations & academic milestones
Graduation season fills Miami restaurants for a month. A private yacht venue gives the family its own room, its own timing and a backdrop that photographs well in daylight.
Yes. Prime Experiences hosts graduation celebrations aboard Miami yacht venues for roughly 20 to 600 guests, depending on the vessel. Daytime and sunset charters are both available, and a standard charter runs four hours from Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood, Florida.
Catering, premium open bar for guests of legal drinking age, DJ service, a dance floor and modern décor are included with our standard venue packages. Non-alcoholic beverage packages, custom cakes, photography, décor upgrades and guest transportation are optional additions confirmed on your proposal.
Formats
Every format below runs aboard the same private venue — pick the shape of the day and we plan backwards from there.
20 to 50 guests, a daytime buffet, toasts and photographs on the sun deck. The most common format for immediate family.
Boarding late afternoon for golden-hour photographs, followed by dinner service and the lit skyline on the return.
Two or three graduating families combining guest lists into one reception, with the programme split between honourees.
A standing format across two decks with stations, an open bar for guests of legal age and a dance floor.
A more formal seated dinner marking an MBA, law or medical degree, often with colleagues and mentors invited.
Several hundred guests aboard our largest vessels for a school- or programme-wide event, with staged entertainment.

The setting
Graduation weekends saturate Miami dining rooms. A charter guarantees your own venue, your own start time and no shared floor.
Grandparents, parents and the graduate's friends each find their own space across interior salons and open decks.
A daytime or golden-hour charter gives the cap-and-gown photos a skyline backdrop rather than a hotel wall.
Once aboard, the guest list is fixed and the crew manages bar service — a practical advantage with a young guest list.
Joint graduation parties across two or three families are straightforward to plan and split on a single proposal.
DJ service and a dance floor are included, and the volume belongs to your group alone.
Standard venue packages cover catering, bar and entertainment, with age-appropriate beverage service managed by the crew.
Planning notes
May and June weekends fill first. Confirm the ceremony date and reserve the charter immediately after it is published.
Florida law applies and our crew manages bar service. Non-alcoholic packages and separate teen beverage service are available.
Cap-and-gown photos work best in the first hour, before dining service begins. We build the window into the timeline.
Custom cakes, school-colour linens and personalised signage can all be coordinated as additions.
Boarding is a single, fixed location. Guest transportation from hotels can be arranged for out-of-town family.
Keep the programme short — a welcome, one family toast and a word from the graduate lands better than a long block.
