Can you rent a yacht in Miami for a birthday party?
Yes. Prime Experiences hosts private birthday parties aboard Miami yacht venues, with vessels available for roughly 20 to 600 guests depending on the boat you select. A standard charter runs four hours and departs from Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood, Florida.
Catering, premium open bar, DJ service, a dance floor and modern décor are included with our standard venue packages. Custom cakes, upgraded florals and décor, live entertainment, photography and guest transportation are optional additions coordinated on request. Availability, inclusions and final pricing are confirmed on your written proposal.

Ways to structure the celebration
Every format below runs aboard the same private venue — pick the shape of the day and we plan backwards from there.
Seated milestone dinner
20 to 60 guests, one deck, a full seated dinner with toasts and a cake presentation. The most common format for 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays.
Cocktail reception
Passed appetizers and stations, an open bar and standing conversation across two decks. Scales comfortably from 60 to several hundred guests.
Dinner then dance floor
A seated dinner service that turns into a reception once dessert clears — the DJ moves the room to the main deck for the second half of the charter.
Sunset departure
An earlier boarding built around golden hour, with photos on the sky deck before dinner and the lit skyline on the return leg.
Large-format birthday reception
150 to 600 guests aboard our largest vessels, using multiple decks, several bars and a staged entertainment area.
Family birthday brunch

What to decide before you book
Guest count drives the vessel
Choose the format first — seated or standing — then the vessel. A seated dinner needs roughly double the space per guest that a cocktail reception does.
Cake and dessert
Custom cakes are coordinated through our catering team or brought in from your own baker. Tell us at proposal stage so we can plan a presentation moment.
Music and volume
DJ service is included. Live musicians, a saxophonist over the DJ set or a specific playlist brief can all be arranged in advance.
Arrival and boarding
Boarding opens ahead of departure so late guests are not left dockside. We publish a firm boarding window on your event timeline.
Décor and personalisation
Modern décor is included. Monograms, photo displays, custom signage and upgraded florals are quoted as additions.
Timing the toast
Speeches land best just before dessert, while everyone is seated and before the dance floor opens. We build the moment into the run of show.

How long is a birthday charter?
A standard charter is four hours. Extended charters can be arranged subject to availability and are quoted on your proposal.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes. Custom cakes can be coordinated through our catering team or supplied by your own baker. Let us know at proposal stage so the presentation is built into the timeline.
Can we host a 21st or a birthday with guests under 21?
Yes. Florida alcohol service rules apply and our crew manages bar service accordingly. Mixed-age guest lists are common and non-alcoholic beverage packages are available.

What happens if it rains?
Our venues have climate-controlled interior spaces, so a birthday runs as planned in most weather. If the captain deems conditions unsafe, we work with you to reschedule.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak dates — weekends, holiday season and Miami event weeks — are typically reserved several months out. We can often accommodate shorter timelines subject to availability.
