Formats

Ways to structure the celebration

Every format below runs aboard the same private venue — pick the shape of the day and we plan backwards from there.

  • Intimate seated dinner

20 to 40 guests at a small number of tables, a plated or family-style dinner and toasts. The most requested anniversary format.

  • Milestone reception

80 to 250 guests, cocktail service and stations across two decks, with a dance floor for the second half of the evening.

  • Vow renewal and dinner

A short ceremony on the open deck at golden hour, followed by cocktails and a seated dinner in the salon.

  • Family anniversary brunch

A daytime charter with a buffet and relaxed pacing, chosen when travelling family have evening flights.

  • Surprise celebration

A guest list assembled aboard before the honourees board — the crew and coordinator manage the reveal.

  • Sunset cocktail hour

A shorter, standing format built around drinks, passed canapés and photographs at golden hour.

Yacht venues for anniversary parties

Anniversaries run across the full fleet — smaller vessels for seated dinners, larger venues for milestone receptions. Each venue page lists layouts, capacities and sample pricing.

The setting

Why anniversary parties work aboard a yacht venue

  • Right-sized for a close guest list

Anniversaries are usually family and long-standing friends. Our smaller vessels give a group of 20 to 60 a whole venue rather than a corner of a restaurant.

  • A quieter kind of celebration

The evening can stay seated and conversational, with music kept low, or open into dancing after dessert — the same venue supports both.

  • Room for three generations

Interior salons and shaded decks mean older guests are comfortable while grandchildren have space to move.

  • A setting worth the milestone

A sunset departure past the skyline marks a 25th or 50th year in a way a familiar restaurant cannot.

  • Vow renewals aboard

A short renewal ceremony can be staged on an open deck before dinner, using the same venue for both.

  • One invoice, one coordinator

Venue, catering, bar, music and staffing sit on a single proposal with one point of contact.

Planning notes

What to decide before you book

  • Seated or standing

Decide the format before the vessel. A seated dinner needs roughly twice the space per guest that a cocktail reception does.

  • Speeches and tributes

Anniversary toasts tend to run longer than birthday toasts. We schedule them between courses so the kitchen keeps pace.

  • Photo and video moments

Montages and photo displays are common. Screens and AV can be added, and photographers can board early for arrival coverage.

  • Accessibility

Some vessels have elevator access between decks. Tell us about mobility needs and we will propose accordingly.

  • Menu and wine

Premium open bar is included; specific vintages, a champagne toast or a signature cocktail can be added to the proposal.

  • Music that fits the room

DJ service is included. A jazz trio, guitarist or pianist during dinner is a frequent upgrade for anniversary evenings.

Questions, answered

Anniversary Parties on a Miami yacht — FAQs

Can you host a small anniversary dinner?

Yes. Several vessels in the fleet are well suited to 20 to 60 guests for a seated dinner, and the whole venue is private to your group for the charter.

Can we renew our vows aboard?

Yes. A renewal ceremony can be staged on an open deck before dinner. You arrange the officiant; we arrange the setup, seating and timing.

How much does an anniversary party on a yacht cost?

Cost depends on the vessel, guest count, date and menu. Sample pricing tiers appear on each venue page as an estimate, and your proposal confirms the final figure.

How long is the charter?

A standard charter is four hours, which comfortably covers a cocktail hour, dinner and toasts. Extended charters are available subject to availability.

Are the venues suitable for older or less mobile guests?

Several vessels have elevator access and level interior spaces. Share any mobility requirements at proposal stage and we will recommend the appropriate venue.

Can we personalise the décor?

Modern décor is included. Upgraded florals, custom signage, photo displays and table personalisation are optional additions quoted on your proposal.

Can we plan a surprise?

Yes. Surprise anniversaries are common — guests board first and the crew coordinates the arrival with you in advance.

How far ahead should we book?

Weekend and holiday-season dates are typically reserved several months ahead. Weekday and daytime charters can often be arranged on shorter notice.
